summer in the north–today’s high 9 celsius

It was so cold today when I biked up two mile hill I could see my breath. The heat came on at work; I turned it on at home, too. My hot water bottle burst two weeks ago and I have refused to buy another one, because it is summer.
Everyone has to cover their plants at night so they don’t die in the frost. Ah, summer in the north! But wait ten minutes and the weather will change …
